The embeddable audit widget is a working audit form you place on your own website with an iframe. A visitor enters their site and email, gets a real teaser audit back, and their details land in your leads list →. It's the classic agency lead magnet, powered by the same audit engine as the product.
Put it on your agency site's homepage or a landing page. An interactive "audit your site now" box converts visitors who would scroll past a contact form — they get value first, you get the conversation.
Add the widget to your site
To embed the widget:
- Add the iframe to your page, pointing at the widget URL —
/embed/auditon the product domain. - Size it into your layout. The widget is responsive and works at any reasonable width.
- Watch leads arrive in the product's leads view, with the audited domain attached — your follow-up call starts informed.
What the visitor sees
The visitor sees a teaser of their audit — enough to prove the value, short of the full report you'd deliver in an engagement. You see the lead: email, domain, and when they ran it.
Limits and usage
- Widget runs are rate limited per visitor, like the public free tools — a burst of traffic can't drain your credits.
- The iframe fetches from the product domain, so there's no script to install on your site and nothing to update when the widget improves.
- Leads land in the product; connecting them onward to your CRM is a manual export today.
If something isn't working
The widget doesn't render. Your site's Content-Security-Policy blocks iframes — allow the product domain in frame-src.
A visitor reports the audit never finished. The audited site was slow or blocked the crawler — the same realities as full audits. The lead is still captured, which is the widget's job.
Too many junk leads. The widget refuses malformed domains. Beyond that, junk emails are a lead-quality problem to filter in your follow-up, not a widget setting.
