Two checks that answer the questions every pitch starts with: how big is their search presence, and who are they actually up against?
- Traffic checker — estimated organic search traffic for a domain: how much search visibility it captures monthly.
- Competitor analysis — who competes with a domain in search, from the same intent-based discovery the product uses — including the verification passes that filter directories and publishers out.
Run a check
Enter the domain and run. The traffic checker measures the US market; the competitor analysis asks which market to check.
Read the results
Traffic numbers are estimates modelled from rankings and volumes — right about scale and direction, not about sessions (methodology →).
Competitor results read like the product's competitors tab →: real rivals lead, and keyword-overlap noise is filtered by evidence from the candidates' own sites.
Limits and usage
- These runs spend live search-data credit, so the anonymous rate bucket is deliberately small.
- One domain per run. Tracked, per-project competitor sets with traffic history live in the product.
If something isn't working
Traffic reads near zero for a real business. Small local sites genuinely capture little search traffic — that's the market context, and often the pitch for doing SEO at all.
A competitor you expected is missing. They may compete in a different market, or not rank for the derived queries — run the check in their market too.
