The planner board shares three ways:
- A read-only link for clients — they see the live board (sitemap or wireframe view) without an account and without edit controls.
- Live collaboration for your team — two people with edit access can work the same board and see each other's changes and presence as they happen.
- Exports — the board as a PNG image, or the whole plan as a markdown content brief you can paste into any document.
Send the read-only link for sign-off instead of screenshots — the client always sees the current version. Use the brief export when someone wants the plan in a document, and PNG when it goes into a deck.
Share the board
To create and manage a share link:
- Open the board's
Sharemenu. - Select
Create linkto make the read-only URL. Sharing is off until you do this — a board with no link isn't publicly reachable. - Manage the link from the same menu:
Regeneratereplaces it (the old link dies immediately),Expire in 7 daysputs a clock on it, andRevokekills sharing entirely.
The link preserves the view you shared — send the wireframe URL for layout feedback, the sitemap URL for structure feedback.
What recipients and collaborators see
Recipients see the board exactly as it stands when they open it, minus every edit and AI control. During live collaboration, an indicator shows when more than one editor is on the board, and remote edits appear in place as they save.
Limits and usage
- Edits on a shared board are authorized server-side against your workspace: a link recipient can look, not touch, no matter what their browser sends.
- One share link exists per board at a time; regenerating replaces it rather than adding a second.
- Expired and revoked links show a plain "not available" page, not an error trace.
If something isn't working
A client says the link stopped working. Someone regenerated or revoked it, or its 7-day expiry passed. Create a fresh link and resend.
Old links from before sharing was rebuilt no longer resolve. Correct — links are token-based now. Make a new one from the Share menu.
Two editors, and an edit vanished. Both were editing the same card at the same moment, and the last save wins. Reload to see the saved state — the board in the database is the single truth.
