The sitemap planner turns your sitemap into a canvas you design on. Each page is a card showing its sections (header, content blocks, footer), connected in the site's tree. You drag pages to restructure, add child pages from a card's menu, and zoom around the whole site the way you would in a design tool.
The AI side does four jobs on request: restructure the tree from a plain-English instruction, generate a structure from a written brief, find gaps (proposed pages appear as dashed ghost cards you accept or dismiss), and suggest keywords per page as chips on the cards.
Use it when the keyword map → shows the structure you have isn't the structure you need — the planner is where you design the target structure before anyone builds or writes it.
Work the canvas
To open and work the canvas:
- Run the sitemap step in the analysis flow, then switch the result from
ListtoCanvas. - Arrange pages by dragging. Scroll to pan, pinch to zoom, and go full-screen when you need room.
- Select
Generate sectionson a card to fill in its content plan, or use the AI panel for restructure, brief, gaps, and keywords. - Add notes to a page and comments to a section — they travel with the board and feed the content manual.
Your edits save to the analysis automatically, and the board reopens from history — look for the sitemap and wireframe link on the run.
The board is the deliverable
Structure, per-page sections, keywords, and notes sit in one picture. Switch to the wireframe view → to see the same plan as page layouts, or export from the share menu as an image or a markdown content brief.
Limits and usage
- Section generation and the AI planner actions each spend generation credit; dragging, notes, and manual edits are free.
- Ghost-node suggestions stay proposals until you accept them — dismissing costs nothing.
- The undo button covers structural and section-level changes in your current editing session.
If something isn't working
Cards are empty. Sections haven't been generated yet — the empty state points at the Generate sections button. Start there.
An AI restructure did something you didn't want. Undo, then rephrase the instruction more narrowly — "merge the two service pages" beats "clean this up".
Your edit seems lost after an AI action finished. Actions apply onto the latest board state, so simultaneous manual edits are preserved. Reload the board before assuming loss — the saved state is authoritative.
