Atlas, your assistant

What Atlas can do for a website, what it asks before it spends, and when chatting with it costs credits.

Open in the appUpdated 2026-10-27

Atlas is the assistant built into SearchBlueprint. Ask it in plain words to audit a website, find keywords, plan or write articles, or explain the page you are looking at, and it does the work with the same tools you use in the app.

Opening Atlas

Open a website and click Atlas in the icon bar on the left for the full page, or type into Ask Atlas on the Overview. On any other page, the Ask anything button at the bottom right opens it. Atlas sees the page you are on, so "what does this score mean" works without a link.

Approve before anything runs

Atlas reads your data straight away: audits, keywords, rankings, the content calendar and your articles. Anything that spends credits, publishes, overwrites or deletes comes back as a card first, with its price and the website it will change. Nothing runs until you press Approve. If you press Not now, Atlas leaves it and does not offer the same card again.

Cards waiting for you are listed under Needs you in Your work, beside the chat, and at the top of the Overview under Next up, where you can approve, reject or snooze them. Settings, Activity lists everything Atlas proposed, ran and learned.

When chat is free and when it costs credits

Chatting is free inside two limits:

  • 60 messages a day for each workspace, the daily brief included. The line under the chat shows the count, for example "12 of 60 actions today", and the time it resets.
  • A monthly amount of free use, roughly 200 typical messages, less if Atlas runs many steps for each one.

Past either limit, Atlas still answers, and each reply takes credits, usually under 2. The line under the chat then says "messages use credits", and Credit history shows these replies as Assistant. Once the day's 60 are used, Atlas can still explain things but cannot propose new actions until the count resets.

Work you approve on a card is charged its listed price, the same as running it yourself. The price of every run is in plans and credits. A run that fails is not charged.

The daily brief and the weekly review

If you have used Atlas in the last week, it writes you a short brief the first time you open SearchBlueprint each day, in a chat of its own: what changed on your websites and what to do next. If you have used it in the last 30 days, the first time you open SearchBlueprint each week it also writes a review of up to three of your websites. Neither costs credits.

In Settings, Brand strategy, Atlas watch, a manager can choose to switch on weekly checks for searches that are starting to climb, rivals that publish faster than you and rival pages worth beating. Each check shows its weekly price in credits before you switch it on.

Preferences Atlas keeps

Tell Atlas how you like things done, for example "always write in UK English", and it keeps that as a preference in every chat. Settings, Atlas memory lists what it remembers, and Remove deletes a preference.
