Markets & languages

Every keyword volume, ranking, and competitor is market-specific. Learn how we suggest a market, and when to run more than one.

Every keyword volume, ranking, competitor, and AI-surface check is market-specific — the same site has different numbers in Singapore and Australia. We support 45 markets, and the market you pick on the wizard's market step decides which world your data comes from.

We suggest a market by reading the site — the domain ending, content signals, and your browser's region as a fallback. Your explicit choice always wins over the suggestion.

Choose your market

To choose your market:

  1. On the wizard's market step, accept the suggestion or pick your own.
  2. If your business serves several countries, select multiple markets — the analysis blends them, and per-market data stays visible where it matters.
  3. Say the country in your business description too ("dental clinic in Melbourne") — the description outranks every automatic signal.

Compare within one market

Volumes in small markets are small — a few hundred monthly searches can lead a city-state's niche. Compare keywords within one market; cross-market comparisons mostly measure population.

Limits and usage

  • Multi-market runs cost more than single-market ones — each market is its own data pull.
  • The free rank checker reads one market per run: the same keyword in two markets is two checks.
  • Language follows the market's dominant search language.

If something isn't working

The suggestion is wrong. Common for .com domains serving one country. Pick the right market — the suggestion is a default, not a decision.

Numbers collapsed after you changed market. They were the other market's numbers. Data doesn't transfer between markets because the markets genuinely differ — re-run in the correct one.
