Three surfaces show your work to a client, in increasing weight. Everything client-facing is read-only and scoped — no client surface can reach your other clients, your costs, or the working tools.
| Surface | Login? | Shows | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Share link → | No | The live report, read-only | Sending results today |
| Strategy views (Blueprint/Progress) | Via link or login | The plan and progress, client-shaped | The ongoing engagement story |
| Client login → | Yes | Their assigned projects, read-only | Clients who self-serve monthly |
Pick the right surface
Match the surface to the client's appetite. Most clients want the share link and nothing more; the login is for the marketing manager who checks weekly. Offering the heavier surface to a light-touch client creates support, not delight.
There are a few ways to hand it over:
- For a report today, copy the share link from the report.
- For the engagement story, share the project's client-facing strategy views.
- For self-serve, send a client invite → scoped to their project.
Where the line sits
What the client sees is what you'd show in a review meeting — grades, progress, plans — not raw tooling. If a surface would confuse a client, it isn't on their side of the line.
Limits and usage
- Client access never spends your credits — nothing on their side can run paid work.
- Share links can be regenerated or revoked per project at any time.
- Client logins receive no lifecycle emails from us — the relationship voice stays yours.
If something isn't working
A client asks what a number means. Every client-facing figure has a help page here — send the specific page. That's what a public help centre is for.
A client forwarded their share link. Links are read-only, so the exposure is the report itself. Rotate the link if it shouldn't circulate, and consider the login model for that client.
