Deleting your account removes your login and the workspaces you own, including their projects, audits, articles, and leads. It's self-serve — no support ticket, no retention call — and it's final: deleted data is not recoverable.
If you only want to stop paying, cancel → instead — cancellation keeps your history for a possible return.
Delete your account
To delete your account:
- Open
Teamand find theDanger zone. - Start the deletion. Three guards can stop you, each for your protection:
- An active subscription blocks deletion. Cancel billing first — you can't delete an account Stripe is still charging.
- Other members block deletion. A workspace with teammates won't vanish out from under them. Remove members first, or hand ownership over.
- The demo account can't be deleted. It's shared.
- Retype your email to confirm. The retype is intentional friction for an action with no undo.
What happens when you delete
Your login stops working and the workspaces you owned are gone. Any public share links into deleted projects stop resolving.
- Deletion is free and immediate once the guards pass.
- It removes what you own. Workspaces where you were a member but not the owner survive — you leave them; nothing is deleted.
- Client logins you created for customers die with the projects they were scoped to.
If something isn't working
"Cancel your subscription first." That's the active-subscription guard. Cancel in billing →, wait for the period state to update, then delete.
"Remove other members first." That's the team guard. Remove them on the Team page, or make someone else admin and have them remove you instead — that keeps the workspace alive without you.
You deleted and changed your mind. There's no restore. A new signup starts clean.
