Connect Lovable

Paste one prompt into your Lovable project. Lovable builds a blog on your site and connects it to SearchBlueprint on its own.

Open in the appBetaUpdated 2026-10-01

The Lovable connection puts a blog on a site built with Lovable and publishes your articles into it. There is nothing to install and no key to copy. You paste one prompt into your Lovable project, and Lovable does the build and the connection.

New connections publish as drafts by default. A draft is stored on your site but stays hidden until the connection publishes it live. Flip that per connection once you trust the pipeline.

Note: The Lovable tile is open to everyone. It carries a beta label because we have not yet watched a real Lovable project connect end to end. If Lovable finishes building and the connection does not turn Connected, paste the function URL into the sheet (see below) or tell us through the chat.

What the prompt builds

  • A searchblueprint_posts table in your Lovable Cloud database. Anyone can read published posts. Nobody can write to it except the edge function.
  • A searchblueprint edge function. SearchBlueprint sends each article to it, signed with a secret only your site and SearchBlueprint hold. It stores the article and answers with its public address.
  • A blog list at /blog and an article page at /blog/<slug>, in your site's own design, with the title, meta description, canonical URL, share image and structured data set on each article.
  • A sitemap of your posts, served by the edge function and listed in your robots.txt.

Connect Lovable

To connect Lovable:

  1. In your project's Publishing tab, choose Lovable and click Copy prompt.
  2. Open your project in Lovable, paste the prompt into the chat and send it.
  3. Wait while Lovable builds. Its last step connects the site, and the Publishing tab turns to Connected on its own.
  4. Click Publish in Lovable so the blog goes live on your domain.

The prompt works once and expires after 24 hours. Copy a fresh one if it expired.

What happens after you publish

Each article is stored on your site with its body, excerpt, SEO title, meta description, hero image, categories and structured data. Re-publishing an article updates the same post in place, because every delivery carries the article's id.

The article's address is /blog/<slug> on your domain. The verifier fetches that address and records what came back.

Limits and usage

  • Lovable sites are single-page apps. Your articles are rendered in the browser, so search engines see them once they run the page's JavaScript. Google does this. Some other crawlers do not.
  • The blog uses your site's fonts and colours through Tailwind Typography. How an article looks depends on your site's design.
  • One connection targets one Lovable project. A second site is a second connection.

If something isn't working

The Publishing tab still says waiting after Lovable finished. Lovable could not call the edge function itself. Ask Lovable for the searchblueprint edge function URL, open Lovable finished, but this still says waiting? in the connect window, paste the URL and click Connect.

Lovable says the site is already connected. The edge function already holds a secret from an earlier connection. Ask Lovable to delete the row in the searchblueprint_connection table, then run the connect step again.

The prompt says it expired or was already used. Each prompt connects one site, once, within 24 hours. Copy a fresh prompt from the Publishing tab.

The article is saved but /blog shows nothing. The site has not been published in Lovable since the blog was built, or the article is still a draft. Publish the site in Lovable, or switch the connection to publish live.
