The Snapps connection publishes generated articles to a site built on Snapps. Like every connection, it starts in draft mode — posts wait for your publish action on the platform until you switch the connection to publish live.
What to know before you start
Connect it when the client's site runs on Snapps. Not sure what a site is built on? The free CMS detector → answers in seconds.
Connect Snapps
To connect Snapps:
- Open the Snapps Blog API docs and click view your API key here to copy your API key.
- Note the site ID for the target site.
- In your project's
Integrationstab, choose Snapps, paste the key, site ID, and the site's domain, then send a test publish. - Confirm the post arrived in the Snapps blog manager.
What happens after you publish
Articles land with their structure and images mapped to Snapps' blog fields. Once live, the publish verifier → checks the public URL like any other platform.
Limits and usage
- The connection is per site — a multi-site Snapps account needs one connection per site.
- Snapps' theme controls the final rendering. The connection delivers content, not styling.
If something isn't working
Authentication fails. The API key was copied incompletely or was regenerated. Copy it again from the API key page and paste it again.
The post exists but the public page 404s. The site's blog section is unpublished on Snapps' side. Publish it there and verification flips on its next pass.
