Bulk Generation takes a list of keywords — one per line, up to 20 per batch — and queues one article for each on the website you pick. Every queued article goes through the same pipeline as a single write: live SERP research, a draft, revision passes against the content score, then your project's publishing settings (auto-publish or review-first). Nothing is shortcut because it arrived in a batch.
When to use it
Use it when you already know the topics — a keyword map's planned pages, a cluster you want covered, a client's brief — and typing them into the generator one at a time is the only thing slowing you down. To plan the topics first, use the Content Calendar →. For one carefully steered article, use the generator →.
Queue a batch
To queue a batch of articles:
- Open
Bulk Generationin the project rail's Write section, or from the Write hub. - Pick the website the articles are for.
- Paste your keywords, one per line. The counter shows how many will queue and warns when you're over the 20-per-batch cap.
- Select
Generate {#} articles. The response says how many queued and lists anything skipped, with the reason. - Watch them move in the writing queue →. Finished articles land in Content History and follow the project's publish settings.
Read the skipped list
Read the skipped list before anything else. A keyword is skipped when it's a duplicate within your paste, longer than the keyword limit, over the batch cap, or already being written. Re-pasting a list you sent earlier doesn't double-spend — keywords with an active job are skipped with that reason.
Limits and usage
- 20 keywords per batch. Paste the next 20 when the first are moving.
- Each article costs what a single generation costs — the batch is a convenience, not a discount. See plans and credits → for the numbers.
- Articles are written on the queue's schedule, not instantly. A batch of 20 takes as long as 20 single articles queued together.
If something isn't working
Everything was skipped as "already being written". The batch was already queued — check the writing queue before re-pasting.
"Failed to queue the batch." Usually the website wasn't selected, or the session expired. Re-select the website and try again — nothing was spent.
Articles queue but never start. The queue runs on a sweep. If nothing moves for more than a few minutes, open the writing queue and look for a failed job — it says why.
