Fix the page that slipped, keep what it got right
You paste the link. You get a rewrite built on what ranks today, a check that your prices made it through, and a score before and after.

1The page that used to bring enquiries
See what it'll keep before it changes a word.
You've had a rewrite come back as a different kind of page. Paste your link and the page is read first: its type, its voice, every section and today's score. You'll see what carries over before the rewrite starts.
- The page type, and you can correct it
- Every section it'll carry over, in order
- Today's score, on the same checks as the rewrite

2When you know what's wrong with it
Tell it what the page needs.
You've asked for an update and got back a page that fixed the wrong thing. Pick what you want from the refresh, from current figures to answers AI search can quote. Each pick becomes instructions the rewrite follows.
- Pick one goal or several
- Add your own in plain words
- Or pick Everything for a page left alone for years
What would you like to improve?
3 instructions the rewrite follows
- Update outdated information, dates, and stale references.
- Add current trends, statistics, regulations, or 2026 references where genuinely relevant.
- Preserve evergreen sections while refreshing the time-sensitive content.
3The prices you worked hard to get right
Your prices come through the rewrite.
You've had a rewrite round a price or drop a figure without telling you. The prices, years and emails on your live page are noted first, then checked in the rewrite. Anything that didn't make it is named before you publish.
- Prices, years and emails, checked one by one
- Pricing and review sections reproduced exactly, or flagged
- A named list of anything that went missing

4When your client asks if it worked
Show the score before and after.
You've told a client a page is better with nothing to show them. The live page is scored before the rewrite and the new one after, on the same checks, so the two numbers compare fairly. If there's no gain, it says so.
- Two scores from the same checks
- Each check still failing, with what it's worth
- Tells you when a run didn't raise the score

- Keyword in the opening and closing paragraphs+2 pts
"7 seo retainer alternatives" opens the article but not the closing paragraph: name it once more where the reader leaves.
- Direct answers (opening and question headings)+2 pts
First paragraph is 8 words: tighten to 20-60 words for a snippet-ready direct answer.
- Keyword density+1.5 pts
"7 seo retainer alternatives" appears 0.7 mentions per 1,000 words: aim for 1-10.
- Keyword intent matches page type+1.5 pts
Keyword "7 seo retainer alternatives" reads as a product or service name rather than a question, but this is a "blog" page: confirm searchers for it want an article and not a page they can buy from.
5Handing it to whoever updates the site
Hand over a change list, not a wall of text.
You've sent a rewritten page to a developer and spent an hour explaining what changed. You get a change order instead: each section marked no change, change to, add or remove, with its new text ready to copy.
- Title, description, H1 and slug, live beside new
- Copy one section at a time for a page builder
- The slug stays put, so no redirects

6The day it goes back up
Your refresh replaces the old page.
You've published a new version and ended up with two pages chasing one search. On WordPress and Ghost, publishing updates the post that's already there. Anywhere else, you're told the old page is still live.

Questions people ask
Does it publish the rewrite for me?
No. You read it first, then publish through your connected site. On WordPress and Ghost that updates the post already there, when it can match the address. Anywhere else, you're told the old page is still live.
What does a refresh cost?
5 credits a run on the default model, and the button shows the price before you start. If a run fails part-way, you get the credits back.
Which facts does it check?
Prices, years and email addresses, plus phone numbers written the Singapore way. Those are the things a rewrite must not change. Other details go to the writer as well, but aren't checked, so give the rewrite a read before it goes live.
What's Light rewrite?
The older, simpler rewrite, still there as a switch. It skips the research, the fact check and both scores, so use the full refresh for any page that matters.
The score barely moved. Now what?
Then the page was probably built fine and the problem is elsewhere. Maybe it answers the wrong question, few of your pages link to it, or Google doesn't see your site as an expert on the topic yet. Your audit's Links section is the next place to look.
How do I find which pages slipped?
Connect Search Console, and the Google tab in Site traffic lists your top pages and searches over 28 days, 3 months or 12 months. The refresher doesn't watch pages for you. It rewrites the one you pick.
