Keyword research
Find the keywords worth winning, and the page for each
See what you rank for and what you're missing, then give each keyword you pick one page, so no two of your pages compete.

One search, one page. No two of your pages compete for it.
Try it. This is searchblueprint.io's own data.
1Starting from a blank list
Your keyword list, started from your own site.
You type a guess into a keyword tool and get four thousand phrases back. Here your list starts from your own site: the searches you already show up for, and the buying searches a site like yours should. You'll start with a shortlist, not a haystack.
- What you rank for, with how often it's searched
- Buying searches you don't show up for yet

2Deciding what's worth it
Pick keywords by what the searcher wants.
You've chased a big number before and got readers who never bought. Each keyword is marked by what the searcher wants, from learning to buying, with a difficulty score from 0 to 100. You'll see which ones are worth the effort.
- Buyers, comparers and readers told apart
- Difficulty from 0 to 100, based on what ranks today
- Sort by searches, traffic or cost

3The ones you're close on
Start with the searches you nearly have.
Somewhere in your list are searches you already rank for, just not on page one yet. They're pulled out for you first, with the ones easiest to win, so your week starts where you're closest.

4What your site forgot to say
Add the searches your site never mentions.
Your customers search for things your site never says. If the word rental isn't on your pages, it won't be suggested, and Google misses you for the same reason. Type it, paste a list or upload a file, and it's in.

5Where each keyword goes
One keyword, one page.
You've watched two of your own pages fight over one search. Every keyword you confirm goes to one page, and no two pages share one. Each page is marked live, covered by a page you already have, or one to build.
- One main keyword per page, across the site
- See which pages already cover a search
- Pages with no job, flagged too

6The pages you still need
See the pages you're missing.
When a client asks what to build next, you'll have it drawn out. The site your keywords call for sits beside the one you have, with suggested pages as outlines you keep or dismiss. Export it as an image or a brief.
- New pages drawn where they belong
- Keep or dismiss each suggestion
- Export it for your team or your client

Questions people ask
Where does the list come from?
Two places: the searches you already show up for, and buying searches suggested from what your pages say. Your brand name is left out.
What if a keyword I need isn't there?
Add it when you confirm. Type it, paste a list or upload a file. If your site never mentions an offer, it won't be suggested, and that same gap hides you from Google.
Do the numbers change by country?
Yes. Search numbers, difficulty and often the keywords themselves change by market.
Does a research run cost credit?
Yes, it uses live search data. Results are saved for a while, so restarting setup doesn't charge you twice.
Can I try it without an account?
Partly. The free keyword tools run with no signup and no card. Your confirmed list and keyword map live in a workspace.
Does it change my site?
No. It only reads your pages, the way a visitor would.
