Internal links
Find your orphan pages, and the link each one needs
See how your pages link today and which ones nothing points to. Then get the links to add: the page, the words and where they point.
Try it. This is searchblueprint.io's own data.
1The pages nobody reaches
Find the pages nothing links to.
You published a page last month and never linked to it from anywhere, so people and Google only reach it by its address. Map today's links and you'll see your pages, the links between them, and the ones with none coming in.
- Orphan pages counted and marked on the map
- Pages with only one or two links in, counted too
- Pages in your site-wide menu counted apart

2Which page links to which
Get the exact links to add.
You know your pages should link to each other, but working out which page links to which takes hours. You get the list: the page each link goes on, the words to link and the page it points to.
- The page to edit, named on every row
- Words that describe the page they point to
- Every link on a page listed together
- Source Page

3Today next to the plan
See your site today next to the plan.
When a client asks what the linking work will change, you'll have it drawn. Your site as it links today sits above the plan, with the suggested links drawn in, so you can both see which stranded pages get a way in.
- Today and the plan compared in figures
- Every planned page linked from its section
- New pages to build shown where they'd sit

4Handing it over
Send the link list to your developer in one file.
You've sent a developer a list of changes and never heard which went in. Export the links to a Google Sheet or a spreadsheet, one row per link, with both pages' addresses and the words to link.
- Google Sheet or XLSX, your pick
- Source page, target page and anchor text, one row each
- Sits in the same file as your page titles

5Keeping track
Tick off each page once its links are in.
You're halfway through a site when someone asks what's done. Each page's links sit together under one Mark done, so you can answer at a glance.
- One tick per page, not per link
- Saved on the project, so everyone sees it
- Tap again to reopen a page

6After the links go in
Check the new links landed.
You've added the links, and now you want to know they're live before you tell the client. Re-check the live site and today's map reads your pages again, so the page that had nothing pointing at it shows its new link.
- Reads your live site when you ask
- Orphan count redrawn from what's live now
- Only reads, never changes your site

And the small stuff, handled
Pages to build, planned in. New pages your plan adds get their links too.
Next to your titles. One tab over from each page's title, description and H1.
Hover to see who links in. Point at any page on the map to see what links to it.
One list per site. Every client site you run gets its own map and list.
Articles that link to real pages. When writing opens in October, articles link only to pages found on your site.
Broken links, found. When the graded audit opens in October, it lists each broken link and the page it's on.

Questions people ask
Do I need an audit first?
No. The list comes with your on-page plan, built from the keywords you confirm. Map today's links reads your pages when you press it.
Does it change anything on my site?
No. It only reads your pages. You add the links, or send the list to whoever edits your site.
What's an orphan page?
A page no other page on your site links to. People and Google can only reach it by typing its address, so it gets found late or not at all.
Why does it sometimes say "with no links found"?
Part of your site couldn't be read, maybe a bot wall or a blank page. A page might be linked from one we didn't see, so we don't call it an orphan.
Can it add links inside my articles?
Yes, once writing opens to customers in October. Articles link only to pages found on your site, 1 to 6 of them, never more than you set.
Where do I find it?
In your project, under On-Page & Links. The map and the list are on the Internal Links tab.
