See what each SEO tool actually does, and what it costs

Honest comparisons with 25 SEO, content and AI search tools. Every table shows the rows the other tool wins, and the date we read its prices.

What kind of tool are you weighing up?

Pick the tool you're weighing up.

You've got their pricing page open in another tab. Filter by the kind of tool, and each card shows their entry price and how many rows each side wins.

  • Their entry price next to ours, read from their own pricing page
  • How many rows each side wins, before you read a word
  • Tap a card and the whole table opens, row by row

AI writers

Pick the topics yourself before a tool writes them.

You've watched an autoblog publish thirty posts and couldn't say why those thirty. Read the plan first, then decide what gets written. Our own writer opens to customers in October, and every row that needs it carries that date.

Where they win

144 of 273 rows go to the other tool.

You've read comparison pages where every row went the vendor's way. Here more than half the rows across 25 tables are called for the other tool, and a row we can't give you yet counts as even, not ours.

  • If backlinks run your week, the table tells you to keep that tool
  • Anything that needs the audit or the writer is marked From October
  • Each page names four jobs where you should keep the other tool

Rows Ahrefs wins: 6

The full table
  • Backlink and keyword index

Ahrefs: Their own web index, on every plan, per their pricing page

    SearchBlueprint: Not offered

This is what Ahrefs is for, and nothing here competes with it.

  • Site audit scale

Ahrefs: 25,000 to 5M pages per project, per their pricing page

SearchBlueprint: 200 pages per run by default, 500 at the ceiling

  • AI prompts tracked over time

Ahrefs: 5 to 20 prompts daily on every plan; Brand Radar from $199/mo and prompt packages from $50/mo, per their pricing page

SearchBlueprint: Gated. The per-assistant tiles show labeled sample data

  • Google AI Overview and AI Mode check

Ahrefs: Tracked daily in Brand Radar, plus free AI Overviews and AI Mode trackers, per their free tools page

SearchBlueprint: Probed live in each audit

  • Branded PDF reports and client share links

Ahrefs: Report Builder, 5 reports on Lite, more with the $99/mo add-on, per their pricing page

SearchBlueprint: Branded with your logo and colours, not full white-label

  • Entry price

Ahrefs: $29/mo (Starter), $129/mo (Lite), per their pricing page

SearchBlueprint: Free first plan, then $150/mo (Base)

Their Starter is cheaper than our Base. They run no discounts, per their pricing page. Ours plans your first site free.

Can I use everything in these tables today?

Not yet. 16 of the 273 rows sell something of ours that isn't open to customers yet: the site audit, the article writer and publishing open in October, and the Google connection opens shortly. Each of those rows says so, and none of them counts as a row we win.

Is the plan free?

Your first plan is, with no card: up to 10 keywords, 5 AI search prompts and a keyword map for up to 15 priority pages. Page titles and the content calendar come with a paid plan, from $150 a month.

Do you have a backlink index?

No. There is no link index here and no link monitoring, and every table that meets one gives that row away. If links are the centre of your week, keep the tool that builds an index and use the plan beside it.

Where do their prices come from?

From each vendor's own pricing page, read on September 26, 2026. Every comparison prints its date. Check their page before you buy, because ours isn't the copy that bills you.

Should I cancel the tool I have?

Not always. Every comparison lists four jobs where the other tool is the better buy. If one of them is your job, keep it and put the plan next to it.

Will this work outside the United States?

Keyword research covers 95 markets. Check yours is on the list before you pay.
